Clinical Governance
Our medical users are integral to Clinical Governance at the Princess Grace Hospital. The Medical Advisory Committee, Medical Specialty Groups and the Clinical Governance Committee are our principle forums for the organisation of Clinical Governance. The success of these forums is key to providing excellent healthcare to our patients, a supportive working environment for our staff and personnel, state of the art facilities and equipment for our medical users and the ability to meet and exceed our regulatory requirements. As part of your admitting privileges you are obliged to participate and adhere to the hospital's Clinical Governance Programme, and we look forward to developing the programme in partnership with you.
Maintenance of Privileges
We are required to review practising privileges for every practitioner every two years as a minimum and they may be reviewed more frequently as a result of concerns about practice or complaints received by the establishment. You will be notified of the outcome of each review. This review is in addition to the GMC appraisal and revalidation requirements.
