Mr Agu is Consultant Surgeon to University College London Hospitals, HCA London Hospitals and Hon Senior Lecturer in Surgery. His expertise encompasses the full range of vascular disease from state of the art management of varicose veins using the latest endovenous laser and radiofrequency technology, endovascular stenting of aortic disease, balloon angioplasty and stenting for leg pain, claudication, poor circulation, ulcers and diabetic foot complications and carotid endarterectomy for stroke prevention. He is a leading authority in the endovascular aortic stent repair for complex aneurysms and dissections. His team of renowned international experts routinely successfully manage complex adult vascular and arterio-venous malformations using a range of minimally invasive techniques.

Mr AguÆ s research/clinical interest also includes preventions and management of deep vein thrombosi (DVT) and chronic leg swelling providing comprehensive care for this entity from simple advice on prevention to anticoagulation, venous thrombolysis, thrombectomy, venoplasty and stenting where appropriate. He works very closely with leading spinal and oncological surgeons assisting with surgical access for benign and malignant spinal conditions, retroperitoneal and pelvic tumours. Mr Agu also provides botulinum (botox) and thoracoscopic sympathectomy service for excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).
