Mr Richards is a Consultant and Senior Lecturer at UCH. Mr Richards specialises in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. Trained in Oxford he undertook fellowships at Nottingham, a pioneering centre specialising in Endovascular Aneurym Repair (EVAR), and also Melbourne, Australia where he trained in advanced EVAR and angiography. Mr Richards is one of the
first surgeons in the UK to be able to offer both open and endovascular options to patients with vascular disease.
Mr Richards is pleased to offer the latest management options for varicose veins by foam sclerotherapy, and local anaesthetic VNUS ablation. For arterial disease Mr Richards includes a team approach to the management of carotid, aortic, peripheral and diabetic vascular disease, with focus on whole patient management. Mr Richards is available for advice and consultations through the Princess Grace Hospital.
