Great Turn out at Marylebone Summer Fayre
On Sunday 14 June 2009, The Princess Grace Hospital hosted a stand at the Marylebone Fayre. The Marylebone High Street was completed transformed into a bustling, happening fayre atmosphere attended by hundreds of people throughout London.
The Princess Grace Hospital stand was a popular attraction with free giveaways including handy first-aid kits and free face painting for children. Visitors to our stand were also informed of the services offered at the Urgent Care Centre; a private emergency walk-in clinic located within The Princess Grace Hospital in central London. Our visitors were also able to speak to our specially trained medical staff who were on hand to discuss any medical concerns or questions they may have had. Each visitor received a fridge magnet as a reminder of the private emergency healthcare service offered at the Urgent Care Centre, should they ever find themselves in need of urgent medical attention.
The event was very family and fun centric – and to reflect this our stand also featured a very popular face painter who drew all kind of wonderful creations on eager young children’s faces and even one enthusiastic adult! We saw lions, princesses and of course Spiderman! We were lucky enough to be placed next to a talented brass band that performed wonderful medleys throughout the day. We also had special prize draws for vouchers to the Natural Kitchen, a free pilates session and a free acupuncture session. Congratulations to our winners! We hope you enjoy your prizes.
The day and the event was a hugely successful and the weather couldn’t have been nicer. We are also pleased to announce that we raised over £200 towards the Teenage Cancer Trust. Thank you for your donations.
