The Princess Grace Hospital offers a variety of Physical Therapies including:
Physiotherapy - A dymanic profession that used a range of treatment techniques to restore movement and function within the body. Sound clinical reasoning and informed interpretation of assessment findings are at the core of our physiotherapist's skills.
All physiotherapists employed at The Princess Grace Hospital are specialists in the management of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions including sports injuries. We also have a specialist in the field of respiratory physiotherapy.

Massage (Remedial, sports and post-operative) - Manual soft tissue techniques to help relieve pain, reduce stress and promote healing, range of motion and flexibility. Lymphatic drainage techniques are also offered.
Our outpatient clinic at 30 Devonshire Street can assist in the treatment and management of musculoskeletal conditions including, but not limited to:
- General Joint and Soft Tissue Dysfunction
- Post-Operative Rehabilitation
- Post-Fracture Rehabilitation
- Back and Neck Pain + Spinal Conditions

Assessment
The initial assessment usually takes about one hour and thorough medical and social histories are taken. Any relevant x-rays and scans should be brought to enable the therapist to develop a full clinical picture.
Patient and therapist identify short and long term goals then plan a treatment programme. The patient's condition and progress are then continuously assessed and goals reviewed throughout following treatment sessions.

Inpatient Service
If you are admitted to the Princess Grace Hospital you may be seen by one of our inpatient physiotherapy team. They will ensure that you are fully prpared and safe for discharge home and commence your rehabilitation programme
