Our pharmacy offers a full dispensing service to In-patients and Outpatients covering:
- All private prescriptions
- Advice and drug information
- Discharge counselling service
- Sourcing and supplying drugs from abroad
- Over-the-counter sales of non-prescription drugs
HCA Medication Policy
The HCA Medication Management Policy provides a framework to ensure best practice within the HCA hospitals. It is be used in conjunction with corporate and local policies and procedures, such as the Antibiotic Guidelines. A copy of the policy can be found on our website in the consultants area and is also available on request from the Pharmacy Manager. In particular please refer to Section 1.0 Medicine Prescribing
